Magical Kenya Ladies Open (MKLO) has partnered with technology firm Eventhub to enhance information dissemination for this year’s tournament slated for February 8th – 11th 2024 at the PGA Baobab Course in Vipingo Ridge.

 

The collaboration will introduce an innovative Player Locator platform embedded on the tournament’s website designed to offer an interactive experience for both on-site attendees and global fans. The platform can be accessed through the link: https://mklo2024.letgolf.live/

 

The platform will have an interactive map, uniquely crafted to visualize expansive venues, and serve as a comprehensive 360° event tool. The platform will cater to the diverse needs of spectators and fans, whether they are on-site or enjoying the event remotely.

 

The Player Locator platform will offer a range of features aimed at enriching the fan experience. The features include, integration of the Official Scoring System, ensuring that fans can access real-time scores and statistics effortlessly. This feature will provide up-to-the-minute updates on player performance, keeping them fully engaged with the unfolding tournament action.

Additionally, the platform will feature a Live Scoring Monitor, providing fans with a dynamic feed of scores as the tournament progresses. Complemented by comprehensive Starting Lists and Timetables, fans will have access to detailed schedules of participating players and event timings. With instantaneous updates on player rankings and a user-friendly search function for quick player identification, the platform will also ensure that fans can immerse themselves fully in the excitement of the Magical Kenya Ladies Open.

 

The technology was successfully used during the DP World Tour, as well as during the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup 2023.

 

Additionally, MKLO will be broadcasted live globally across 100 countries and to 350 million homes, continuing with its history of placing Kenya on the global map since inception in 2019.

The live action will be broadcasted across eleven territories which comprises The Americas; Australia; Czech Republic; Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland; Germany; India; Portugal; South Korea; Spain; The United Kingdom; and Sub-Saharan Africa. Across Sub-Saharan Africa, DSTV’s Super Sport will air the action from Vipingo Ridge whilst The Golf Channel will beam the tournament proceedings in the America’s region. Sky Sports will broadcast the proceedings to the UK and German audiences while Fox Sports will air the event in Australia.

 

Locally, it will be broadcasted by Mediamax, through K24 TV will broadcast the tournament as the Free-To-Air partner. Broadcast for the tournament will be done between 3PM and 6PM Kenyan time from Thursday to Saturday, with final day coverage starting from 1PM to 4PM. Tournament highlights and analysis will also be available on the Ladies European Tour YouTube channel.
