Mapro FC are this year’s Multichoice Intermedia Tournament winners after edging out Radio Africa 1-0 in an enthralling final clash played at the Jamhuri Primary School on Saturday.
The champions defeated Radio Africa FC 1-0 thanks to Francis Mateiko’s goal to walk home with Ksh50,000 price money.
On their way to the final, they overcame NA Installers 1-0 in the quarterfinal before seeing off Nation Media FC 2-1 in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, George Ajwala captained Radio Africa FC were awarded Ksh30,000 for their runners-up finish.
Royal Media FC was awarded Ksh20,000 for claiming third position after defeating Nation Media FC 3-2 on post-match penalties in the third-place playoff following a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time.
